Description
The disposable intraviteral packs contain all disposable instruments and consumables necessary for vitreoretinal injection for the treatment of Age Related Macular Degeneration and other conditions. Intravitreal injection is performed in the posterior segment of the eye through the pars plana, and is used to inject substances that act upon the retina. The introduction of Anti-VEGF medications has led to an increase in the use of intravitreal injections and they have become the standard treatment of Age-Related Macular Degeneration. Anti-VEGF drugs have also been approved as treatments for Diabetic Retinopathy and Retinal Vein Occlusion.
