Description
The disposable intra-viteral packs contain all disposable instruments and consumables necessary for vitreous injection for the treatment of Age Related Macular Degeneration and other conditions. Intra-vitreal injection is performed in the posterior segment of the eye through the pars plana, and is used to inject substances that act upon the retina. The introduction of Anti-VEGF medications has led to an increase in the use of intra-vitreal injections and they have become the standard treatment of Age-Related Macular Degeneration. Anti-VEGF drugs have also been approved as treatments for Diabetic Retinopathy and Retinal Vein Occlusion.
